Practice Fee & Charges

GAP fee

PRESCRIPTION & REFERRAL

NON-ATTENDANCE Fee

From 1st of August 2022 our practice will implement GAP fee for procedures and some of the services where medicare rebate would not cover the practice expenses.

GAP fee for such services will be discussed at the time of making an appointment.

We have to make the difficult decision due to the insufficient Medicare rebate to cover the increasing practice expense while providing those services at out surgery.

If for whatever reason you no longer need or wish to reschedule your appointment, please let us know at your earliest convenience. A minimum of two hours is requested as we can then offer the time to a waiting patient.

A non-attendance fee of $ 25 will apply for missed appointments.  These charges are not claimable through Medicare as they are not Medicare Items.

*No further appointments will be made until the outstanding amount has been paid.

RECALL & REMINDER MESSAGES

RECALL & REMINDER MESSAGES

RECALL & REMINDER MESSAGES

Your doctor may add a “recall” in your file for a test or a check up they may need you to do in the future. The recall system is used to remind patients when they are due for specific health matters such as a follow up tests,  pap smear, some of the injections like Vitamin B12, Contraceptive injections.
When this “recall” is due you will receive an SMS/Text message  from our practice reminding  system reminding you of this. It is very important  that you follow up when you receive a recall or reminder message. If you have chosen not to receive SMS reminders then our practice staff will contact you over the phone or may send you a letter in the mail.
